
NOB-Nutankal news: On the 9th of December 2025, 08 people were arrested and remanded in connection with the murder of Uppula Mallaiah in Lingampalli village under Nutankal Police Station, District Additional SP Ravinder Reddy said. On the 9th December 2025, at around 11.00 pm, a clash broke out in Lingampalli village of Nutankal mandal due to class differences in Lingampalli village, resulting in Mallaiah being seriously injured. He was taken to Suryapet Hospital and from there to Vanasthalipuram Hospital for treatment, but the doctor said that he had already died. The Additional SP said that the accused who committed the attack, A1 Upula Satish, A2 Korivi Gangaiah, A3 Veeraboyina Satish, A4 Upula Gangaiah, A5 Upula Elamanchi, A6 Veeraboyina Lingaiah, A7 Karingula Ravinder, and A8 Deshpangu Avilayah, have been identified and arrested. The two groups, keeping in mind the quarrel, clashed and hit each other with sticks and stones. Upula Mallaiah suffered a serious head injury. He was immediately taken to the Suryapet Government Hospital and then to the Hyderabad Vanasthalipuram Government Hospital for better treatment. The doctors there declared him dead on examination. Based on the complaint, a murder case was registered and an investigation was conducted and 8 people were arrested. Strict action will be taken against the accused, Suryapet DSP Prasannakumar, Tungaturthi Circle CI A. Narasimha Rao, Nutankal SI R. Nagaraju and Nutankal police station staff were congratulated for cracking the case and working efficiently.
