NOB- Odisha news: Scrub typhus is booming in the state of Odisha.The death toll reached 180 on 17.09.2023.Out of the 59 samples collected and sent so far, 11 were found positive for scrub typhus, the health department officials revealed.Out of the total 180 victims, 10 are from other states.
Most of the cases are emerging in Sundergarh and Bargarh districts.
Seven people have died in the state so far.
