NOB-Suryapet news: Under Chaitanyapuri police station limits, a minor girl was sexually assaulted under the pretext of playing with her by using false words. In case 6.80 691/2022, the accused is Velisha Sudhakar s/o Mallaiah, age: 38 Occupation: Attendant at Tree Oakwood International School, Satyanagar, Kothapet, Ganga Colony, L.B. Nagar, Annaram, Tungaturthi, a resident of Suryapet district, has been found guilty. In this case registered under Chaitanyapuri Police Station limits under Sections 8/5376/48),376(2)(1) 190, & 586.50) ()(7)/4/ 6 of POCSO Act and Chaitanyapuri Station 260/2023, Rape and POCSO Act, the Fast Track Special Judge of Rangareddy District, L.B. Nagar, on 25.02.2025 convicted the accused. In this case, the accused was sentenced to twenty years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs.25,000/-. And a compensation of Rs.8,00,000/- was provided to the victim girl. Additional Public Prosecutors Sunitha and M.Raghu presented arguments in this case.
