With regards to surging cases in past 24 hours and death rates, Central government is warning state government in written that they need to keep a track of the cases and take necessary measures to avoid infections in their States. In the past 24 hours, 49 deaths and 19,406 new cases were reported in New Delhi alone

Mumbai                      -486 new cases and 2 deaths

Nagaland                     – 8 new cases

Andamans                   – 16 new cases

Puducherry                  – 84 new cases

Sikkim                          – 80 new cases

Arunachal Pradesh      – 58 new cases and  

Maharashtra               – 167 new cases.

So people are advised to take necessary measures to stop further spreading of Covid-19 cases.
