
NOB- Andhra Pradesh news: Union Minister Pratap Rao Jadhav said in Parliament that the Center has approved the establishment of 88 new Primary Health Centers in 26 districts in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Of these 88 PHCs, Kurnool -9, Palnadu -7, East Godavari, Nellore -6 each, Srikakulam, Prakasam, Anantapur districts -5 each, Kakinada, West Godavari, Guntur, Eluru Nandyal, Chittoor, Sri Sathya Sai districts -4 each, Vizianagaram, Kadapa, NTR districts -2 each, Alluri Visakhapatnam, Anakapalle, Krishna, Annamayya districts -1 each, he said. It was said that 68 staff nurses have been appointed for the 72 staff nurses in PHCs and 42 doctors for the 45 doctors. It was revealed that 86 staff nurses have been appointed for the 97 staff nurses in the district urban PHCs and 48 staff nurses have been appointed for the 49 doctors.
