Consumers are confused as products are manufactured and sold in the market under the name of branded companies as well as generic companies.
Consumers complain that they cannot identify what is genuine and what is fake. Along with this, people are expressing concern that fraud is happening in weighing too. Businessmen from other states have recently started various businesses in Jadcharla. It is known that in the background of large-scale business going on in Judchalar, some traders are continuing fake business.
Due to this, the authorities are alerted and are conducting inspections. Unexpected checks are being carried out on business centers and fake businesses are being exposed. Police are registering cases against the illegals involved in adultery. However, consumers are concerned about fake businesses. On the one hand, the police department is keeping an eye on fake businesses and taking action. However, people want the authorities of all departments to conduct coordinated surveillance to curb the fake business completely.
Fake Aashirwad pipes were seized from a shop on the main road of Housing Board Colony in Jadcharla. The managers of the concerned company conducted inspections and caught the fake pipes being sold in the shop and handed them over to the police.
A wholesale shop in Badepalli Ganj area was seized with fake Parachute coconut oil cartons in bulk. Fake packets with the names of Red Label Tea Powder and Clinique Plus Shampoo were caught in the same shop.
In a gold shop in the town, customers were caught for adulteration of gold ornaments.
The task force police, on receiving information about the storage of adulterated tea powder in the house of a trader near the local Imperial Garden function hall, seized the bags of tea powder.
Recently, an incident has come to light in a rice mill where gravel stones are being mixed and sold in sacks. Officials found that grains were being packed in sacks with pebbles for extra weight and were being transported to warehouses.
Legal action will be taken if adulterated businesses are run against the rules. We have already conducted inspections on many business centers in the town under the police department and registered cases against many businessmen. As per the orders of the SP, we conducted raids on the incident of mixing gravel in grain sacks and caught them. We are taking all possible measures in terms of the police department.
