‘H3N2’ virus was identified as the cause for Flu – ICMR has issued warnings

An unrelenting fever, cough along with respiratory problems. It is taking more time than usual to recover. Influenza is sweeping across the country. A large number of cases are being reported. People are worried because they are facing trouble again with almost the same symptoms while they are breathing after a long battle with the Covid virus. Meanwhile, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that most of the latest cases are caused by influenza-A subtype ‘H3N2’ virus. It is said that the effect of this virus is more as compared to other subtypes, due to which admissions in hospitals are increasing. For two or three months, H3N2 has spread widely across the country.
