After a long discussion, the Chief Minister’s matter came to a head in the Karnataka Congress. Chief Secretary KC Venugopal officially announced that Siddaramaiah has been selected as the new CM of Karnataka. He said that DK Shivakumar will be the only Deputy Chief Minister. He also said that DK will continue as PCC chief till the parliamentary elections. At 12.30 pm on 20.05.2023, the Chief Minister, Deputy CM and Cabinet will be taking oath.
