The case of the illegals came out in Srivari potu. On 19.05.2023, the Vigilance officials detected the illegality of moving the laddoos made in Srivari potu and collecting money. In this case, one person from Srivari temple potu along with three others were arrested. The traffic in Tirumala has increased tremendously. It takes 36 hours for darshan. Devotees lined up for about two kilometers.

It is reported that the people who work in Tirumala Laddu potu found that this Laddu is involved in illegal movement. Three days ago, laddoos were sent from the laddo potu of Srivari temple to Boondi potu through a conveyor belt in trays. From there, the trays are transported to the laddu sales center in trolleys and delivered to the counters given to them. In this background, vigilance checks found that 10-15 trays of laddoos were added to the laddoos counters. A tray holds 50 brownies. Based on this calculation, it was primarily concluded that the laddus worth more than Rs. 35,000/- reached the laddu counters directly from the Srivari temple without any checks.
