Vishnudev Sai appointed as the new Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh

NOB- Chhattisgarh news: BJP leadership has chosen Vishnudev Sai as the new CM of Chhattisgarh. In a meeting of BJP MLAs held in Raipur, Vishnudev was elected as the leader of the BJP legislative party.Vishnudev Sai has served as Union Minister in the past. He also served as the state president of BJP until 2020. Choosing him instead of former CM Raman Singh has gained priority.The selection of Vishnudev Sai, who belongs to the tribal community, as the Chief Minister of the BJP high command has become a priority. Former CM Raman Singh, Renuka Singh, Aruna Saav and Vishnudev Sai, OP Chaudhary contested for the post of CM.

Finally, the Bharatiya Janata Party leadership announced his name as the MLAs favoured Vishnu Dev Sai. The new CM was elected under the supervision of three central observers. After the results of Chhattisgarh which came out on December 3rd 2023, there is a discussion about who will be the CM. An observer appointed by the BJP central leadership held a legislative party meeting in the presence of Union Minister Arjun Munda, Sarbananda Sonowal and the party’s National General Secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam.
