NOB- Mathampally news:  Drug officials conducted raids in Suryapet district. A medical shop manager was arrested. According to the details, the Excise and Drugs officials raided the medical shop on 07.03.2024 on information that prohibited tonics were being sold in the Durga Bhavani medical shop in Mathampally mandal of Suryapet district. The tonics and medical shop was seized in the raids as it was found that banned tonics were being sold to locals. Similarly, it is reported that the medical shop manager Ravinder Naik has been detained by the authorities. Officials said that strict action will be taken if prohibited drugs are sold. Officials claimed that government prohibited medicines and tonics are being sold by medical shop operators and charging high prices and the use of prohibited medicines is harming people’s health.
