
NOB-New Delhi news: Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has severely criticized Prime Minister Modi’s behaviour during the Lok Sabha election campaign. He was criticized for tarnishing the image of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) with hate speeches and inappropriate comments. He said false accusations were made against him. He made it clear that during his tenure as Prime Minister, he never saw any community as separate. He wrote a letter to the voters of Punjab during the final phase of Lok Sabha polling. He said that India is currently at a crucial stage. He said that this is the last chance to protect democracy and our constitution from the repeated attacks of autocratic government to start dictatorial rule in India. He said that for the past ten years, the BJP government has not missed a single opportunity to insult Punjab, Punjabis and Punjabiness. Modi was criticized for misinterpreting his comments that Muslims have the first right. He said that he had closely observed the political campaign during this election and Prime Minister Modi had indulged in highly venomous hate speech which was not befitting of his status. All his speeches were divisive. He said that he was the first Prime Minister to lower the level of this post. Manmohan criticized Modi for campaigning against the opposition or targeting any section of the society. He also said that some false statements were made against him. It is BJP’s right to separate one community from the rest, he said. The people of the country are seeing all this.
He severely criticized the agricultural and economic policies followed by the Modi government. He said that more than 750 farmers, especially those from Punjab, died waiting at the borders of Delhi for months. PM criticized our farmers for making comments on the stage of Parliament, calling our farmers ‘worriers’ and parasites, saying that sticks and rubber bullets are enough. They said that their only demand is to withdraw the three agricultural laws imposed on them without consulting them. He said that the policies followed by him in the last ten years have wiped out the income of the farmers. He said the national average monthly income of farmers is just Rs.27 per day. But their average debt burden is Rs. 27 thousand.He said that the BJP thought that the value of patriotism, bravery and services should be limited to only four years, that’s why it brought the Agniveer scheme. He said that it shows fake nationalism. Manmohan severely criticized BJP’s economic policies for ten years. He said demonetisation which turned out to be a big disaster, flawed GST, mismanagement during covid and decline in GDP growth rate have all pushed the country’s economy into an unimaginable crisis. On this occasion, he called upon the people to utilize the last opportunity to spread love, peace, brotherhood and harmony in the country.
