NOB- Nizamabad news: Station House Officer (SI) of Varni – Rakshakbhata Nilayam, Nizamabad District, Nizamabad Distt. B. Krishna Kumar caught by ACB. The SI demanded Rs. 50 thousand to give bail to the person against whom a case was registered in the fight between the two. He was caught by ACB while taking bribe. The incident of Varni SI Krishna Kumar being caught red-handed by ACB created a commotion in the district. Nagaraju, a farmer of Varni Mandal’s Kotayya Camp, had a fight with a man in the mandal center on 4th of November 2024. A case was registered by SI Krishna Kumar on Nagaraju on the same day. Meanwhile, the SI demanded Rs. 50 thousand to give station bail to Nagaraju. Finally, he signed a contract for Rs. 20 thousand. Later the farmer informed the ACB officials. SI was caught red-handed under ACB DSP Shekhar Goud while taking a bribe of Rs.20 thousand on 08.11.2024 afternoon. ACB says to dial 1064 if someone asks for bribe.
