NOB- Hyderabad news: Deepthi (29), daughter of Pulivarthi Sangeeth Rao of Nacharam Saraswati Nagar Colony under Nacharam police station limits in Hyderabad, is pursuing her PhD in IICT. Constable Anil, who lives opposite their house, has filed a complaint at Nacharam police station alleging that Sangeeth Rao cheated her by taking Rs. 15 lakhs in 2022 on the promise of giving his wife a job in IICT. Although Deepthi’s family members said that they returned Rs. 8 lakhs to Anil, Sangeeth Rao alleges that his daughter Deepthi was summoned to the police station for money and false cases were filed. Anil’s uncle Somaiya, wife Anita, and Anita’s brother Saidulu demanded Rs. 35 lakh from Deepti to withdraw the case. She replied that she had nothing to do with the matter. Her father had taken the money and that he had not been with them for many years. However, Anil did not listen to her and filed cases and threatened her by calling her to the police station several times. Deepti, upset by this, committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan when no one was at home. Deepti committed suicide by recording a video on her mobile phone, blaming the police harassment for her decision.
