Penchalayya, who works as an outsourcing employee at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Board, stole 100 grams of gold biscuit from the Srivari Hundi. Vigilance officials caught him while he was hiding it in a trolley and taking it away. A case was registered against him after a complaint was filed at the Tirumala police station. Lakhs of devotees from all over the world reach the Tirumala hill to pay obeisance to Lord Venketeswara. Gifts are offered in the hundi of the Lord. However, a contract employee working at the holy shrine of Tirumala Venkanna showed off his sleight of hand. A person named Penchalayya, who works as an outsourcing employee at Agrigos under the TTD Board, stole a gold biscuit from the hundi of Srivari. The stolen gold biscuit was being carried in a trolley without the knowledge of a third party, when he was caught by the eyes of the vigilance officials, they said that the gold biscuit stolen by Penchalayya weighed 100 grams. The vigilance officials have filed a complaint against the outsourcing employee at the Tirumala police station. The police, who have registered a case, are investigating whether the accused has committed any similar thefts in the past. He is being interrogated.
