NOB- Prayagraj news: At least 10 devotees were killed and 19 injured after a car they were travelling in collided with a bus in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj on 15.02.2025. They were travelling to Maha Kumbh mela. The accident took place in Meja area on Prayagraj-Mirzapur highway. The report quoted police as saying that devotees were travelling from Korba district of Chhattisgarh to take holy dip in Triveni Sangam. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences to the bereaved families and directed officials to expedite relief efforts. He also instructed authorities to ensure proper medical treatment for the injured and wished them a speedy recovery.
