NOB-Mustabad news: Speaking on the occasion, Mustabad SI Ganesh said in a statement that Vanama Yadagiri of Pulluru village in Siddipet mandal got married to Vanama Lakmi of Mustabad village in 1996. They had two sons, but after a few years, he harassed his wife to bring extra dowry. Unable to bear the harassment, Vanama Laxmi filed a complaint against Yadagiri at the Mustabad police station in 2015. The police registered a case against Vanama Yadagiri and the then SI Maruti filed a charge sheet in the court. Public Prosecutor Sandeep argued for the prosecution, while Mustabad SI Ganesh, CMS SI Shravan, Court Constable Devender, presented five witnesses in the court. After the crime against the accused Vanama Yadagiri was proved, Judge Praveen sentenced the accused to one and a half years in prison and a fine of Rs. 3000/-.
