NOB- Suryapet news: A 35-year-old man named Sanu Qila @ Srinu from the state of Orissa used to buy ganja at a low price near Poorna in Pullikonda village in their area and sell it to those who needed it at a higher price per kilo. Recently, he bought ganja at Rs. 1500 per kg and knew that if he sell it in Dhulpeta area, Hyderabad, he would get Rs. 10,000 per kg. He decided to take the ganja to Hyderabad and sell it in Hyderabad. On 09.03.2025, he bought 30 kg of ganja from a person named Poorna of Pullikonda village at Rs. 1500 per kg. Poorna packed the whole thing in 15 packets and gave it to him. The said San Qila @ Srinu put them in a super market bag, boarded a lorry and went to Hyderabad. On 10.03.2025 at around 8.30 am, the said Sanu Qila @ Srinu got off the lorry with the ganja bag, put the ganja bag in the trees, and while the vehicles were stopping on the side of the road to go to Hyderabad, the Blue Colt police suspected the person and arrested him at around 9 am. In this case, a person named Poorna from Pullikonda village is absconding. Sanu Qila @ Srinu has no previous cases. It was estimated that the value of the ganja is 3,00,000/- and the value of the cell phone is 5,000/-, the total value is 3,05,000/- rupees. The accused was caught and arrested by Munagala SI. Police officials congratulated Praveen Kumar, Head Constable Srinivas, Lakshminarayana, Constables Shiva Koteshwar Rao, Yellareddy Satish and Rambabu, and CI Ramakrishna Reddy for supervising the operation.
