NOB- Chilukur news: Severe punishments are inevitable for those who commit crimes, no one can escape before the law. District SP Narasimha IPS said that the police department will work to ensure that the cases are investigated quickly and the punishments are meted out. The SP said that he congratulated the PP, DSP, CI, SI and the court duty staff who worked hard for the arguments in the court of this case. Among those sentenced to life imprisonment are two men and one woman. On 15/03/2019, in the village of Kattakommugudem (Ramapuram) in Chilukuru mandal, a person named Kukkal Gopi belonging to the SC caste was beaten to death with a tractor by a person named Sheikh Dastagiri of the same village with the help of A2 Kastala Venkataratnam and A4 Kukkal Renuka. On the complaint of the deceased’s mother Kukkal Puspamma, a case was registered at the Chilukuru police station under crime number 19/2019 for murder and under the SC and ST Atrocities Act. A case was registered against four and accused Dastagiri who was acquainted with the deceased’s wife, they said that they had a plan to trample the deceased with a tractor. The then investigating officer DSP Sudarshan Reddy conducted an investigation and filed a criminal charge sheet. After examining 15 witnesses and victims, Special Sessions SC, ST Nalgonda District Court Judge Roja Ramani found the accused Dastagiri, Venkataratnam, and Renuka guilty of the crime and sentenced the three criminals Sheikh Dastagiri, Venkataratnam, and Kukkala Renuka to life imprisonment and a fine in the murder case. If anyone commit crimes, they will not be spared from punishment. If anyone commit murder, they will have to spend their life in jail. SP congratulate PP R.Akhila, Liaison Officer Constable Saidulu, Court Duty Head Constable Srinivas, Kodada Division DSP Sridhar Reddy, Kodada Rural Circle CI Rajitha Reddy, and SI Rambabu for their efforts to ensure that the criminals are punished.
