NOB-Visakhapatnam news: Srikakulam District Police cleverly apprehended and arrested a love-crazed murderer. The accused was caught after a continuous search by four special teams on the orders of District SP KV Maheshwara Reddy IPS Range DIG Gopinath Jatti, IPS, specially congratulated the police officers and staff who apprehended the accused. The accused was identified within hours with the work and coordination of the district police team. According to information from higher authorities that the love-crazed maniac who brutally attacked his mother and daughter with a knife at Madhuravada, Swayamkrushi Nagar, Visakhapatnam on 02.04.2025 afternoon and escaped was coming towards Srikakulam. On the orders of Srikakulam District SP KV Maheshwar Reddy IPS, four special police teams were formed under the supervision of DSP CH Vivekananda and with the help of technology and solid information, the accused was continuously searched. On 03.04.2025 evening, the police personnel under the leadership of J.R. Puram CI M. Avataram cleverly took the accused into custody and handed him over to the Visakhapatnam City Police for further action.Visakhapatnam Range DIG Gopinath Jatti IPS specially congratulated and praised Srikakulam District SP KV Maheshwara Reddy IPS, along with other police officers and staff, who acted with great skill and dedication in apprehending the accused through continuous search, teamwork and coordination based on information that the murderer had entered Srikakulam district.
