NOB- West Bengal news: Protests against the Waqf (Amendment) Act have been ongoing in Murshidabad, West Bengal since 11.04.2025. On 12.04.2025, protesters in Malda, Murshidabad, South 24 Parganas and Hooghly districts staged a massive protest and blocked roads. They pelted stones at security personnel who tried to stop them, leading to violence. Police said that more than 110 protesters have been arrested.
