NOB-Hyderabad news: GHMC Urban Biodiversity Deputy Director was caught by the ACB while taking a bribe. On 15.04.2025 afternoon, the ACB officials conducted searches at the Serilingampalli Zonal Office based on a complaint from a victim. Viparla Srinivas, the Deputy Director of Urban Biodiversity at the Zone Office, demanded a bribe of Rs. 2,20,000 from the complainant and was caught by the ACB officials while taking Rs. 70,000.Demanded a bribe from a contractor in connection with the work of Chandrayangutta Circle. Srinivas demanded a bribe to clear the check-measured bills for the supply of plant materials. He instructed the victim to come to the Serilingampalli Zonal Office with the bribe money. With this, the contractor came to Srinivas at the Serilingampalli Zonal Office as instructed by Srinivas, Deputy Director of Urban Biodiversity. Srinivas was caught by the ACB officials at the Serilingampalli Zonal Office while taking money from him.
