NOB- Kerala news: A road accident occurred in Kottayam, Kerala. A bus carrying Ayyappa devotees to Sabarimala lost control and overturned. One person died in the incident and several were seriously injured. The bus carrying pilgrims from Karnataka was leaving for Sabarimala. At 6:30 am on 16.04.2025, the bus lost control and overturned at a bend when it reached near Erumeli village in Kottayam district. A 45-year-old man died in the incident. Police said that more than 20 people were injured. On receiving information, the police immediately reached the spot and took up rescue operations. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The police revealed that a case has been registered and an investigation has been launched into the incident.
