
NOB-Hyderabad news: The case of attempted rape of a young woman in a Secunderabad MMTS train has taken a crucial turn. Railway SP Chandana Deepti revealed that the young woman misled the police during the investigation. She said that she had accidentally slipped while making Instagram reels with her cellphone. It was determined that the young woman had told the police a fabricated story and convinced the police that she had been raped. As part of the investigation, the Railway Police examined more than 300 CCTV cameras. About 120 suspects were questioned. Later, the Railway Police concluded that the young woman had not been raped. The Railway Police are planning to close the case after examining the legal aspects. It is known that the news that a young woman from Anantapur district, who was working in a private company in Medchal district, was raped by a young man in an MMTS train carriage has gone viral. She fell and was injured near a railway bridge in Kompally and was first taken to Gandhi Hospital and then to a private hospital for treatment. It is reported that she has now fully recovered.
