The Indian Army has been on high alert after this terrorist attack. It is conducting a massive search operation in the Jammu region. In this context, an encounter was conducted in Bandipora district on 25.04.2025 morning. A top commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba was killed in this encounter In the wake of the Pahalgam attack, security forces have been cracking down on militants in the Kashmir Valley for the past three days. Extensive search operations are being carried out. In this sequence, the Indian Army and Jammu Police launched a joint operation in the area after receiving specific intelligence information that terrorists were hiding in Bandipora. In this sequence, there was a gunfight there. In this encounter, Lashkar-e-Taiba top commander Altaf Lalli was killed. It seems that two police personnel were also injured in this incident. Currently, the gunfight is going on there. In the wake of the terrorist attack, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi will go to Jammu and Kashmir. He will visit Srinagar and Udhampur.
