NOB-Dehradun news: A terrible accident has taken place in Uttarakhand. A helicopter going from Kedarnath Dham to Gupta Kashi crashed in a forest. Five people lost their lives on the spot and two others were seriously injured in the accident. Officials have identified the helicopter that crashed as belonging to Aryan Aviation. It was said that the helicopter crashed in the forests between Gaurikund and Sonprayag. The accident took place at 5:20 am on 15.06.2025. It is said that six devotees were travelling in this helicopter. Among the devotees was a child. The Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority confirmed the accident and made an official announcement. Officials have confirmed that the devotees who died in the helicopter crash were from Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat. However, the reasons for the helicopter crash are yet to be known. Did it crash due to a technical problem? Or was it due to unfavorable weather conditions? It remains to be seen. Shepherds who were taking their cattle to graze in the forests noticed the helicopter crash and informed the police. Following this, NDRF and SDRF teams, along with police and officials, rushed to the scene and took relief measures.
