NOB- Nirmal news: Contractor locks school building in protest over not sanctioning bills for school building he built. Gaddam Srinivas, a contractor from Rajura village in Khanapur mandal of Nirmal district, built a school building in the same village for Rs. 37 lakh. The previous government released Rs. 14 lakh and could not release the rest of the money due to the election code. With this, the contractor who locked the school building, poured petrol on himself and committed suicide after almost two years of not sanctioning the bill. The contractor who stopped the agitation with the force of police and villagers and warned local Congress leaders that he would lock the school building if the bill was not sanctioned within a week.
