NOB-Tirupati news: Unknown thugs have killed a single woman in Adivakodiambedu village of Pichatour mandal in Tirupati district, locals said. According to local reports, Kalpana, 40, of Adivakodiambedu village, was noticed alone at home and the thugs slit her throat at night and stole the gold chain and necklaces from her neck before leaving. On learning about the matter, SI Venkateswarlu reached the spot, registered a case and said that an investigation is underway. The SI said that she is being taken to Satyavedu Area Hospital for a Panchanama.
