MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy arrested for threatening a quarry owner

NOB-Hyderabad news: Another key development has taken place in Telangana state politics. The police have arrested BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy from Huzurabad constituency. These steps have been taken against him on charges of threatening a quarry owner. Going into details, Warangal Subedari police registered a case against Kaushik Reddy after allegations of threatening a quarry owner were received. In this order, the police detained him at Shamshabad International Airport on 21.06.2025. After the arrest, Kaushik Reddy was shifted to Warangal for further interrogation. It is learnt that the police have registered cases against MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). It seems that he has been charged under sections 308(2), 308(4) and 352 of the IPC. More details regarding the incident are likely to be revealed after the police investigation. The arrest has become a topic of discussion in political circles.
