NOB- Suryapet news: In a statement, District SP Narasimha IPS said that with the intention of preventing habitual offenders, those who cause trouble to the public, those who disturb peace and order, suspect sheaters, rowdy sheaters and those who are likely to create problems from committing crimes again, they will be made to be bound over with a bond for a period of 6 months or a year at the Mandal Magistrate to ensure their good conduct. The Police Department will implement the rule called bindover for the good conduct of the citizens. If anyone violates this rule and commits a crime again within the bindover period, the amount (Rs.) that such persons will be made to be bound over during the bindover will be deposited in the government account as per the orders of the Mandal Magistrate MRO. The main accused in the murder case that took place in Miryala village last March 2025, A1 Kanakati Venkanna @ Venkateshwarlu and A2 Kanakati Shravan, were bound over for a period of 1 year at Nutankal MRO 9 months ago due to the quarrels in the village before the murder. Both of them committed the crime of murder while the bindover period was still in force. According to the bindover rules, each of them has a surety of Rs. 1 lakh. According to these rules, as per the orders of the MRO, 27.06.2025. Rs. 1 lakh each was deposited in the government account by the two accused, the SP said. The main accused in these two murder cases are currently registered under the PD Act and are serving their sentence in the Central Jail. The District SP warned on this occasion that strict action will be taken against anyone who violates the bindover rule and the bindover money will be confiscated.
