After the pandemic of covid virus, now Monkeypox virus is gaining attention world wide. In the past few days India has also reported two cases of Monkeypox. Till now deaths were not reported with this viral infection. But yesterday that is on 30.07.2022, a death case was reported in Kerala who is a 22 year old person. He was hospitalized with encephalitis and fever immediately after his return from UAE and was undergoing treatment for that and he does not showed any symptoms of Monkeypox virus too. But after his death he was tested positive for Monkeypox virus. Kerala government health minister has instructed to further investigate the exact reason for the death of the person by sending the samples to National Institute of Virology. Though the Monkeypox is not contagious as covid virus but it is also spreading. So people must be careful of it.
