Due to short circuit, fire accident happened in a three storeyed hospital building in which 8 were killed and five were injured at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Among 8 people killed , 4 were patients. The collector of Jabalpur confirmed the accident and said that the injured were sent for ICU in another hospital as their condition is critical. The fire was put off and necessary measures were taken. The CM of Madhya Pradesh announced ex-gratia for the lives of 8 people and said that this is very unfortunate incident and continuously monitoring the situation.
