NOB-Nizamabad news: The incident of parents selling their daughter after carrying her on New Year’s Day has created a stir in Nizamabad city. They tried to sell the child secretly because they could not afford to take care of her as it was their fifth child.According to One Town SHO Raghupathi Mutyalamma and Venkat Rao of Mirchi Compound in Nizamabad city already have four children. Meanwhile a girl was born as their fifth child on June 30th 2025. With this, the baby was put up for sale. With the help of locals, it was sold to a person from Solapur for Rs. 2 lakh. This matter came to light five days ago when she was sold. On 11.07.2025 night, the police registered a case and started an investigation based on the complaint of the local CDPO. It is learnt that the child was recovered and shifted to a care home. That is, she has become a commodity in the market.
