NOB- Mancherial news: On 18.07.2025, Katam Ram Mohan, Assistant Labour Officer Mancherial, FAC Sirpur Kagaznagar was caught red handed at his residence by ACB when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs. 50,000/- from the complainant for showing an official favour for processing and forwarding the complainant’s application to higher authorities for the sanction of accidental death claim and funeral charges, in connection with the death of the complainant’s brother, who was a registered building construction laborer and passed away.The tainted bribe amount of Rs. 50,000/- was recovered from the possession of the ALO. Both hand fingers of ALO yielded positive result in the chemical test. Thus, the ALO performed his duties improperly and dishonestly to obtain undue advantage. Therefore, the ALO is being arrested and produced before the Hon’ble Special Judge for SPE & ACB cases, Karimnagar. The case is under investigation. The details of the complainant are withheld for security reasons.
