NOB- Bareli news:  In a fortunate turn of events, a man was rescued from the jungle with severe injuries, including two broken legs, after his in-laws allegedly attempted to kill him. Rajiv, who worked as a doctor’s assistant, was taken to the hospital by a stranger after he was found in the jungle with both his legs and hands broken.  In Bareli’s Izzatnagar, a woman planned her husband’s murder and successfully convinced her five brothers, including Bhagwan Das, Premraj, Harish, and Laxman, to hire goons to execute the killing.  A total of 11 people attacked Rajeev on the night of 21 July 2025. They broke Rajeev’s hand and both his legs, and the plan was to bury him alive. Goons took Rajiv to a forest in the CB Ganj area and dug a pit to bury him. Their plan remained unsuccessful when a stranger arrived at the spot, leading the goons to abandon there and escape the site.  Rajiv’s bones were broken, and he could not even scream for help when the stranger was able to trace him and called an ambulance. He was taken to a nearby private hospital, and currently he is receiving treatment.  Rajiv married Sadhna in 2009 and they have two sons, Yash (14) and Luv (8), who attends a private school. While Rajiv owned a house in the village, he and his wife resided in the city, reportedly due to his wife’s preference. According to Rajiv’s father, the village house was rented out. An FIR has been filed in the case against the woman and her brother on Rajiv’s father’s complaint alleging that they want to kill his son.
