NOB- Vizianagaram news: A tragic incident took place in a colony near Tammannameraka in Kothavalasa mandal of Vizianagaram district. The death of a newlywed couple under suspicious circumstances has shocked the locals. The police have identified the deceased as Koppula Chiranjeevi (30) and Geethala Venkatalakshmi (28). They were married for only 8 months. Chiranjeevi was working in a private company in Visakhapatnam, while Venkatalakshmi was working in a private store in Kothavalasa. The deaths of the couple at home under suspicious circumstances on 22.08.2025 night have shaken the hearts of the locals. Chiranjeevi was found hanging from a fan, while his wife Venkatalakshmi was lying lifeless on the floor. Many suspicions are being raised about this incident. Was it suicide? Or was it murder? Questions are troubling the locals and family members. However, according to relatives, they were very close. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and inspected it. A case was registered, the bodies were shifted to the hospital for postmortem and an investigation was started from all angles. More details regarding this incident are yet to be known.
