Cybercriminals have now lost their way as all banking services have gone digital. Recently they attacked electricity consumers. Due to non-payment of the last month’s bill, they are sending messages saying that electricity supply is being stopped at 9.30 PM today, and to restore it, they are sending messages asking them to call this number. Seeing these messages, electricity consumers are getting shocked. Transco and Genco CMD D. Prabhakar Rao also got a similar message and he was upset.

Shocked by this message, he lodged a complaint with the police. The cybercrime police said that tens of such complaints have been received. The police and TSSPDCL officials have asked the people who see these messages to be alert and if do not lose money by calling cyber criminals believing that they are real.
