
NOB-Nizamabad news: The hospital superintendent said that an emergency delivery case was successfully conducted at the Nizamabad government hospital. Simran Begum (age 23, first delivery) of Kotagiri village, Pothangal mandal, Nizamabad district, and her husband Mohammad Rasool, reached the hospital on the morning of the 23.09.2025 with labor pains and low platelets (only 15,000). The medical team intervened in time and provided treatment and a 2 kg baby boy was born alive at 11:58 am on 23.09.2025. To save the mother’s life, 2 units of RDP and 1 unit of SDP platelet transfusion were given. In subsequent tests, the platelet count increased to 57,000. Especially the house surgeon DR. Hemanth played a key role in saving the mother’s life by donating blood at the right time as the patient had low platelets. In this successful case, the medical team DR.
