NOB-Mancherial news: In Mancherial district, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught a district officer while taking bribe. District Cooperation Officer Rathod Bikku Nayak was caught by the ACB team while accepting a bribe of Rs. 2 lakh at his residence Iqbal Ahmed Nagar in Mancherial center. Bikku Nayak, who had demanded a total bribe of ₹7 lakh in the process of granting increased wages to a suspended employee, was caught in the trap of ACB while taking the first instalment of ₹2 lakh. When the victim approached the ACB, the ACB officials, who had laid a trap as per a pre-planned plan, arrested him red handed. Currently, the ACB officials are continuing the investigation at the office of the District Cooperation Officer in the Mancherial Collectorate.
