Even if a dog bite appears to be a minor injury, it can lead to a fatal disease like rabies. As soon as a dog bites, whether it is a pet dog or a stray dog, doctors strongly advise taking the rabies vaccine without any delay. Since there is a risk that young children may hide a dog bite without the knowledge of family members, parents are urged to be vigilant in this regard and educate children about the dangers of rabies. Doctors have clarified that rabies can be prevented if proper treatment is taken on time.
