NOB- Medak news: An SI, who noticed the ACB trap, jumped over the wall behind the police station and ran across the fields. About 15 ACB personnel who had hidden there caught the SI from behind. The incident, which took place at Tekmal Police Station in Medak district. A farmer from a village in the mandal area filed a complaint about the theft of a harvester battery that he had brought on rent. It is learnt that local SI Rajesh had demanded Rs. 50,000 from farmer Pandu of Asad Mohammed Palli to solve the case. As per the agreement, the victim paid Rs. 30,000 as the first instalment. Later, the victim approached the ACB officials. On 18.11.2025, the victim was giving Rs. 20,000 to the SI at Tekmal Police Station when the ACB officials conducted raids. The SI, who suspected an ACB trap, jumped over the wall of the police station and tried to escape from there. A team of about 15 Anti-Corruption Department officials chased the SI who was running in the fields and caught him. The officers are conducting searches at Tekmal Police Station. While the ACB officials are interrogating the SI red handed, it is noteworthy that the locals are bursting crackers.
