For 12 years, a man who is younger brother of step father has been committing violence against a girl. The rape of the girl started when she was seven years old. He continued to until she was 19 years old. The matter came to light after almost thirty years when the victim lodged a complaint with the police.

Hailing from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh, the girl’s father died when she was young. So the mother re-married to someone else. Step father’s brother raped the girl for the first time when she was 7 years old. When the girl explained the incident to her mother, she warned her to remain silent. Moreover, some pills were given to the girl when she was suffering from stomach ache and was asked to keep silence. More agitated by this, he resorted to violence many times on her.

Along with him, another uncle also raped the girl. The victim continued to be raped in different places until the girl reached 19 years of age. After that the young lady tried her best to stop them as much as possible. She got married to an Army man in 2011. They have two daughters. Even after marriage, they kept trying to rape her whenever she went to her mother’s home.

But she was careful not to get caught by those evildoers again. The woman said that she could not bear the emotional trauma and finally told her husband. After 28 years with the help of her husband, she lodged a complaint with the Aligarh police. The victim complained that the police refused to register a case when she complained to the police earlier about the matter. Later, by approaching the National Commission for Women, SSP and the Chief Minister’s Grievance Redressal Portal, the police eventually took up the case. Finally a case has been registered under IPC sections 376, 323, 504, 506.
