
NOB-Suryapet news: On the occasion of Home Guard Officers Foundation Day, District SP Narasimha IPS extended his best wishes to them and announced that he will work for their welfare. On 06.12.2025, to commemorate the 63rd Home Guard Foundation Day, a Home Guard Officers Parade was organized in a grand manner at the Suryapet District Police Office. District SP Narasimha IPS attended the event as the chief guest, received the salute and viewed the parade organized by the Home Guard Officers. On this occasion, District SP Narasimha IPS congratulated the Home Guard on its foundation day and said that despite the pressure of work during the Gram Panchayat elections, this foundation day was celebrated grandly as part of the welfare of the Home Guard officers and as part of the recognition of the Home Guard officers, sports competitions and blood donation camps were organized on this occasion. The SP congratulated the Home Guard officers that they are performing duties on par with fully trained police personnel and in some cases more than the police personnel, that they are at the forefront in performing technical duties, CCTNS duties, and as writers, that they are working hard during disasters and floods, and that they are constantly working to protect the money, honor and life of the people. He asked the Telangana State Police and the Home Guard Department to bring a good name to the Police Department by being disciplined and providing the best and most transparent services to the people quickly. He said that the district police department is working tirelessly for the welfare of the Home Guard officers and as part of this, they are providing raincoats, woolen jerkins and glasses to protect them from the sun, rain and cold while performing their duties. He also said that financial assistance is being provided from the Home Guard Welfare Fund to everyone who applies for their children’s education and health expenses. He said that in the future, children should be educated in higher education and that students who are talented in their studies will be given cash rewards. He assured that the best performing students studying in intermediate will be given an incentive of Rs. 18,000 as the first prize, Rs. 15,000 as the second prize, and Rs. 12,000 as the third prize, and those who are best performing in the tenth grade will be given an incentive of Rs. 15,000 as the first prize, Rs. 10,000 as the second prize, and Rs. 8,000 as the third prize. On this occasion, he congratulated the Home Guard officers who showed excellent performance in their duties by presenting them with certificates of appreciation. To mark the Home Guard Foundation Day, the SP along with the Home Guard officers planted saplings at the District Police Office.
