NOB-Vikarabad news: Karre Rathnaiah (32) and Kavitha were a married couple living in Chodapur mandal center of Vikarabad district with their two daughters and one son. While Rathnaiah worked in the fields, Kavitha worked as a labourer in a private company and had an extramarital affair with Dasari Ramakrishna from the same village. Upon learning of this, Rathnaiah repeatedly warned Kavitha to stop, reminding her that they had daughters of marriageable age. Angered that her husband was becoming an obstacle to their relationship, Kavitha decided to have him murdered with the help of her lover. As Rathnaiah was going to the fields for work as usual, Ramakrishna hit him from behind with a tractor, killing him. Kavitha informed the police that her husband had died in a road accident, but Rathnaiah’s brother, Devayya, filed a complaint expressing suspicion about Kavitha.  When the police investigated in their own way, the wife confessed that she had orchestrated the murder with her lover. The police arrested Kavitha and her lover Ramakrishna and remanded them to custody.
