Aleti Nagaraju, Age 32, were identified by the police as belonging to Yadadri district. Regarding this arrest, Warangal Police Commissioner Sunpreet Singh, IPS, revealed the details, stating that the main accused in this scam, Pasunuri Basavaraju and Jella Pandu, were operating an online service in Yadagirigutta, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district. One of the accused, Ganesh, introduced himself to online centers, claiming he would pay the amount through an NRI account. He collected the entire amount from the farmers through Mee Seva agents, and from the collected money, he gave commissions to the online service providers and intermediaries, and then sent the e-challans to the main accused. Basavaraju would take these challans and use the “Inspect Edit Application” on the Dharani/Bhoobharathi website to reduce the challan fee.  He would then edit the challan via mobile and send it back to the farmers. In this process, the accused used a mobile application to alter the receipts issued on the website for the fees paid to the government, reducing the amount payable. They would then submit these fake challans with the reduced amount to the local MRO/Registration office through intermediaries, thus defrauding the government and causing a loss of revenue.  The two main accused, having become accustomed to making easy money this way, would register the Dharani and Bhoobharathi registration documents themselves on the website, instead of through Meeseva centers, online services, or intermediaries in Jangaon and Yadadri districts. For this, the main accused would pay a commission of 10 to 30 percent to others. In this case, the accused committed fraud in transactions related to 1,080 documents in Jangaon and Yadadri districts. 22 cases have been registered in connection with this scam in these two districts. The Warangal Police Commissioner revealed that 7 cases were registered in Jangaon district and 15 cases in Yadadri district. The Jangaon DCP Rajamahendra Naik, ASP Pandari Chetan, Jangaon Inspector Satyanarayana Reddy, and Raghunathapalli Circle Inspector showed exceptional skill in apprehending this gang. The Police Commissioner congratulated Srinivas Reddy and the other Sub-Inspectors and staff.
