NOB-Guntur news: The implementation of the Next-Gen Paperless Hospital program under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission was launched under the leadership of DR. S.S.V. Ramana. To provide improved medical services, a training program was conducted on 24.01.2026 for doctors, nursing staff, paramedical staff, pharmacy personnel, lab technicians, radiographers, and computer operators. Through this program, a unique ID will be generated for each patient via the Next-Gen software, creating an ABHA ID. This will register the patient’s details in the Ayushman Bharat Digital Account for a lifetime. The patient’s case study will also be included. This software will provide access to these records not only in Guntur but anywhere in the country. DD, NIC, Mr. Usman, who participated in the training program, stated that this modern system will help in providing prompt services to patients. As per the instructions of the Health Secretary, the performance of this system will be monitored through Artificial Intelligence and WhatsApp Government. He also informed that all necessary arrangements are being made at the ground level to provide immediate medical services to patients. The faculty team from all medical departments, doctors, and DME Nodal Officer Ms. Priyanka participated in this program. She was specially commended for GGH Guntur being the first in the state to create digital records. GGH Administrator J.D. Smt. Sudharani, Civil Surgeon RMO DR. BV Rao, Hospital Administrator Praveen Kumar, Nursing Superintendent Grade-1 Smt. Gangamma, and the nursing, pharmacy, and paramedical staff participated in the event.
