NOB-Hyderabad news: With an aim to alert the public, especially students, about the increasing cyber crimes, Saifabad Police on 21.02.2026 organized a ‘Cyber Crime Awareness Seminar’ at Ravindra Bharati. Around 200 students from Kangara Kids School, Lakdikapool participated in the program.The program was conducted under the Saifabad ACP Sanjay, SHO A. Seethaiah, SI Naveen and other police personnel.
Addressing the conference, ACP Sanjay directed the students and staff about the cyber frauds that are happening every day. He especially explained the frauds that are happening in the name of increasing the credit card limit.

Important Tips:

•OTP Security: Under no circumstances should you share your OTP with anyone.
•Beware of bank fraud: Be very careful of phone calls that ask you to press ‘1’ or ‘2’ to increase your credit card limit.
•Do not trust strangers: Do not trust the words of strangers who come over the phone.
•Contact directly: If you have any bank-related matters, it is safer to go directly to your nearest bank and meet the manager to find out the details, rather than through phone calls, he said.
