NOB-Nuthankal news: In the Nuthankal Mandal, within the limits of the Peddanemila Gram Panchayat, a man named Nagelli Ramaswamy (son of Sailu) a 60-year-old farmer and resident of Peddanemila village went to the Muthyalamma Kunta (pond) at approximately 10:00 AM to wash his oxen. Tragically, he accidentally fell into the pond and drowned. Upon receiving information regarding this incident, the Nuthankal Sub-Inspector (SI), accompanied by police personnel, arrived at the scene to assess the situation. After a strenuous effort lasting approximately five hours during which they entered the water with the assistance of fire department personnel, expert divers, and local residents they successfully recovered the body and handed it over to the family members. Subsequently, the body was transported to the Suryapet Government Hospital for a post-mortem examination. A case regarding this incident has been registered at the Nuthankal Police Station.
