NOB- Hyderabad news: In Cr. Nos. 282, 283 & 284/2026 U/s 318(4), 274 BNS of PS Mailardevpally, Hyderabad, police have apprehended three persons involved in manufacturing and selling adulterated food products. On 28.03.2026, acting on credible information, police along with the H-FAST team conducted raids at Babul Reddy Nagar and Laxmiguda areas. The accused were found preparing mixture, namkeen, chikkis, and Osmania biscuits under the names Arun Kumar Foods, Anjani Foods, and Jain Foods without adhering to food safety standards, using harmful chemicals, and supplying the same to local markets. The accused Munnir Arun Kumar (34), V. Masthan Reddy (46), and Vishal Jain (41) were apprehended. Adulterated food items, raw materials, chemicals, and food colours worth approximately Rs.3,35,100/- were seized. Further investigation is in progress.
