NOB- Bellampalli news: An incident of accepting a bribe of Rs. 30,000 just to process an application regarding the natural death claim and funeral expenses of a deceased employee has come to light. In this corruption incident, relief labour officer Paka Sukanya, working at the relief labour office in Bellampalli, and her privately hired assistant Mokinepalli Rajeshwari were caught. In the wake of the death of the complainant’s husband, she went to the file officer for the natural death claim and funeral expenses as per the government policy, and was demanded a bribe of Rs. 30,000 to send it for the approval of the higher authorities. The victim contacted the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and the officers set a trap and caught both of them.
